Indie Artist Liz Menezes: Brazilian Bossa Nova

Exciting young singer-songwriter Liz Menezes found her beat in Rio with the bossa nova, hooking up with a Brazilian indie label to give pop hits by The Beatles, Diana Ross and others a jazzy Latin twist. With a growing fan base in Latin America, she came out with her solo debut of original songs, "Yo!" in 2011, along with the successful single "Veneno," landing several tunes on the soundtrack of the popular Hulu teen drama series, "East Los High".
