Live on Broadgay

In the grand tradition of the Elizabethan theatre era, LIVE ON BROADGAY features a cast of New York's great gay male comedians and one hetero woman performing staged adaptations of queer-friendly works that rank among the plays of Shakespeare, Marlowe and Chekhov (all of whom were very gay).

After we successfully adapted one of the great works of Michael Patrick King to the stage at the off-Broadway Jerry Orbach Theatre last season, LIVE ON BROADGAY is excited to bring its caravan of queer thespians to Littlefield with a completely different episode of Sex and the City! It should be noted that this is not a read through, but a staging of an entire episode with a cast of all gay male comedians (and one straight female.)

Join us for a grand night at the theatre, starting with a cocktail reception harkening back to the grandeur of old Broadway, followed by the show, which in addition to the main event will feature stand up by Courtney Maginnis and Emmy Blotnick, and ending with the space's transformation into an inclusive gay club DJ'd by DJ Jeep Grand Cherokee, much like the ones theatregoers would go to après-pièce.
