About Literary Death Match

"Literary Death Match is as engaging as the best concerts, plays and stand-up comedy sets I've ever seen, all rolled into one." — Nashville Scene

"The greatest reading series ever" — LA Times

To celebrate the summer solstice, Literary Death Match returns to The Bell House in Brooklyn for our lone NY-based show of the summer. Come witness the sparkling, high-energy dazzlement that'll razzmatazz your Monday, with all the lit, wit and oddball twists in between!

What is Literary Death Match? Four writers read their own work for seven minutes or less, and are then judged by three all-star judges. Two finalists are chosen to compete in the Literary Death Match finale, a vaguely-literary game to decide the ultimate winner.
