Honouring the Male Muse of Whitney Museum, Met Museum exhibited painter Robert Greene, Liam "Blue"- the dancing Blue that Debbie Harry watched nightly, Bernadette Peter's, "I love you BLUE!", photographed by Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine's Chris Alexander. This magical Angel was taken from us. NewYorkCity's halcyon era is dimmed by his passing. A Musical tribute, with dance and even an aerialist.
Raising monies for Chechnyan Gays who are being persecuted. A portion of proceeds go to TwinlessTwins.org.
Artists include the legendary Sugar Hill born, Joe Rigby Sax-played with the likes of Milford Graves and Andrew Cyrille, known for "musical truth", and "a big, personal sound". Ra, formerly, Rachid, a singer that prompted the New York Time's to declare, "glorious singing". Of whom Spin wrote, "most underrated album of the decade", and "lyric sheet of the year".
Tasha Wenger, Jazz Singer, of Berlin's B flat soothes with her sultry rendition of "Boys of Summer", Casimir and his Shaken Child Band returns to his musical birthplace, rocking out for Liam Blue his twin. Dance and Aerialist, and a bit of poetry. Oh! And did we mention, a Bagpiper playing an Irish funeral song? All for just a $20 ticket at the door.
