Master Israeli Blues Guitarist Lazer Lloyd

You might associate the traditional beard and hat Lazer Lloyd is rocking with his Israeli homeland, but the music he's singing and playing is pretty much all down-home Chicago. Singer-songwriter and guitar virtuoso Lloyd has done for the blues what Matisyahu did for hip hop, bringing the rich talent of Israel to a global stage. Born in Connecticut, he was already firmly into the blues-rock scene when he moved to the Middle East in '94. Since then, he's crossed over to the mainstream music scene in Israel and played with several successful Israeli bands before forming his own.
