Lauren Ruth Ward

Baltimore, Maryland native, Singer/Songwriter Lauren Ruth Ward started her musical journey early in life. In 2012, Lauren Ruth Ward was recognized on YouTube for one of her cover songs gaining over 1 million hits, capturing the attention of labels such as Warner Brothers Records, Sony Records and Copeland Entertainment.
Her uniquely smoky voice infused with her raspy tone, shows vulnerability and strength. The distinctive slight bit of gritty-ness enraptures audiences and keeps you mesmerized.

Ward's fan base crosses over from folk to rock and can easily appeal to country fans as well as the mainstream audience. She made her first official radio debut on 89.7 WTMD when the station showcased Ward on their Baltimore Hit Parade.

In 2014, Lauren Ruth Ward was signed to Copeland Entertainment Management and in less than one year has written with world renowned Producer Linda Perry. She has also worked with and written with part of the Matrix writing team (Lauren Christy's "Grammy Award Winning Writing Team").

Ward has been listed on "Next To Shine" as "Artist to Look Out For" for her self-written single "Travel Man."

Lauren Ruth Ward is set to release her Official EP in Fall 2015.
