Following the release of Lauren Marsh's debut EP 'Ready for Takeoff' in October of 2012, Lauren released her new record "The Incurable Heart" on Tuesday September 23rd, 2014, reaching yet another milestone in her career.

In 2013, Lauren's debut EP was honored with the Jersey Acoustic Music Award for "Top Indie EP of the Year", while her artistry was nominated in four additional categories: Top Female Vocalist, Top Female Listening Room Act, Top New Female Act, and Top Indie/Pop/Rock Act. At the request of the JAMawards, Lauren performed her original song "For A Moment" at the ceremony.

Lauren & The Band returned from Austin, TX after their live performance at the 2015 RedGorilla Music Festival (during SXSW) joining the list of past RedGorilla performers that includes: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Imagine Dragons, Foster the People, Allen Stone, and many more - with their most recent headline performance taking place in front of 40,000 people at the 2015 Communiversity Arts Festival in Princeton, NJ.

"Ledge" Lauren's original song off "The Incurable Heart" was selected for the 2015 RedGorilla Music Festival Compilation CD, distributed to over 25,000 people.

Lauren recently opened for two international touring artists: Howie Day and Anna Nalick, and showcased at the 2015 Millennium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA (widely known as the largest music industry conference on the east coast) and had a spotlight performance at Singer-Songwriter Cape May 2015 in Cape May, NJ. Over the past year, Lauren has also performed at more than 20 colleges throughout the Mid Atlantic and Northeast regions.

For the month of January 2015, Lauren's song "A Little Love" off "The Incurable Heart" was selected by the company Screenvision to feature in their nine-song pre-show entertainment playlist aired in 8,000 movie theaters nationwide alongside artists like Corinna Bailey Rae, Train, and The Doobie Brothers. Original songs "Stranger" and "Home" were also selected for features during previous months.

"Stranger", Lauren's single released in Sept. 2013, went on to be selected by an independent production company out of Ontario to be featured in the indie film "Blood Empires", which premiered in the 2015 New York Macabre Faire Film Festival. The music video for "Stranger" has over 100,000 views on YouTube - total views on Lauren's YouTube Channel are nearing 300,000.

Lauren incorporates jazz, pop, rock, and indie influences in a style that is uniquely her own. Lauren's artistry combines key experiences from starting as a jazz vocalist, spending 5-years as a lead vocalist and keyboard player in rock bands, and immersing herself into the music of artists like Adele, Led Zeppelin, and Ella Fitzgerald.
