Lauren Desberg Album Release Concert

Lauren Desberg, 23, has been wowing audiences with her vocal prowess from an early age. Desberg attended the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and Berklee College of Music in Boston. During her time at Berklee, Lauren recorded her first EP, Sideways, produced by Gretchen Parlato. Sideways and her single I Wanna Be Like You were reviewed by NPR and receives airplay on Jazz radio stations worldwide.
The Harlem-based vocalist manages to simultaneously pay homage to traditional jazz while adding her own contemporary feel in a fresh take on standards performed by jazz greats. Lauren Desberg embodies the spirit of her generation yet defies expectations all the same. Welcome to millennial jazz.
