About Lady Moon & The Eclipse Presents: "The Gospel"

Quincy Vidal was established in the spring of 2009, when Le'Asha Julius and CE created a musical duo that embraced and paid homage to all musical styles. It started with the name, and from there they took a year hiatus until the summer of 2010 when they decided it was time to work on their first full length album, The Cookin' in Brooklyn LP.

Their debut project gained many comparisons to old school artists such as Digable Planets and A Tribe Called Quest, however, it definitely had it's own sound. One that married the style of two different coasts, and sent listeners on a colorful trek into a different world of jazzy hip hop.

That was back in 2010. QV has since grown up. After finishing their last two years of school they immediately began work on their second album, Sentimental Moods, which is due to be released in November of 2012. A significant contrast to their first effort, but still keeping with the jazz influences, Sentimental Moods touches on a more smooth, grown up vibe, with hints of ridiculousness here and there. Get hip, get hype, its gonna be dope.

QV has opened for hip-hop artists Kendrick Lamar (T.D.E.) and Astronautalis (affliated with Doomtree), and have collaborated with artists such as Trevor Hall, uhlife, The Universe Project, & Chazz Giovanni
