About Kill Alters, Fetishes, Mezzanine Swimmers, A Scumbag's Guide To Life, Blessed Thistle

KILL ALTERS is built upon human suffering in many forms mental , physical , beyond the physical. Interwoven with the story of the close relationship of a little girl and her mother. A lot of the audio dates back to 1976 into the early 1990's.

"Fetishes is a performance art project currently exploring abstract noise with themes of traditional East Asian music (sampled from vinyl records) and Japanese butoh dance."

"Bracing, yet supremely hypnotic, Brooklyn, NY-based Mike Green creates a sweltering, cloistered, soupy masala full of harsh noise, loops-all-on-loops, vocals drug under the scraping metal of a southbound subway, and guitars that sound wounded and adjacent. Yes, this is Brooklyn subway music on a stuffy, humid day-- a hot, crowded platform where you know it's not going to get any cooler so you just stop fighting it. When your head nod matches the codeine-drip BPM and you stop actively listening and let the sounds enter your ear canal wihtout judgment, suddenly Mezzanine Swimmers sounds like Can. A really, really dirty Can." -Ryan Hall / Goldrush

A SCUMBAG'S GUIDE to LIFE is an improvisational electronics project, influenced by Come Org, Alchemy, and Post New York school composition techniques. All performances are built around 2-4 movements each focusing on an exploration of a specific sound set within a cohesive whole. A SCUMBAG'S GUIDE to LIFE started in 2013 with minimal vocal and oscillator recordings and a collaborative performance with Forbidden Colors. The project was then put on hiatus for an extended time to focus on work with Forbidden Colors. After Forbidden Colors departure from Philadelphia to San Francisco, A SCUMBAG'S GUIDE to LIFE then reactivated with live performances in the Philadelphia area ad the release of Objective REALITY on Quiet Bodies.
