About Kevin Ray, Danica Dora, Our Wild America, Kristine Bogan

Danica Rose Noelle Dora has been a singer songwriter since she was born. As a child she made recordings on her casio tape box, promising the world she would one day sit atop the throne of musical genius. Today, she is quickly emerging as a thrilling new presence on the New York music scene, having played sold-out engagements at Joe's Pub, Knitting Factory, Webster Hall, The Iridium Jazz Club, Rockwood Music Hall 1 and 2, Bryant Park, Mercury Lounge and the Laurie Beechman Theatre, among others. Her unique ability to combine indelible melodies with a sense of humor and unflinching honesty has gotten her compared to Joni Mitchell and Carol King, and has people saying,

"With a voice like that and great songs to boot, I sense good things on the horizon." -JezebelMusic.com

Our Wild America is music from and for the people who make America wild.

Playing an Americana music idiom that is cinematic in scope, Our Wild America is first and foremost a live band. Their releases capture that essence, whether recorded live in concert or live-to-tape in the studio. The warmth and grit of analog recording techniques may not be better suited to any other musical act. With songs that deal with sickness, madness, love, death, the planting and the harvest, Our Wild America's music swells beyond the plaintive vocals, weathered lyrics and acoustic guitars typical of Americana music, and re-imagines a new American land- and people-scape that is at once familiar and disquietly alt.
