About Keléchi

First generation American, KELÉCHI is an Orangeburg, South Carolina native with a wanderlust for adventure. His escapades lead him to a successful run in the men’s fashion industry, catering to his secondary love of personal style and self-creation; but his first love of music lead him to Los Angeles where he and his group CTZEN were featured on multiple episodes of the FOX Network’s hit reality-competition show, The X-Factor. Keléchi and his group were so successful amongst fans that CTZEN was signed with Primary Violator Management, home of such musical greats as Cee-Lo Green, Eric Benét, and Mariah Carey.

As a solo-artist, Keléchi’s Nigerian roots, southern influences and love of Pop and R&B has garnered his unique sound and aesthetic. Humming George Gershwin and Brian McKnight in the same breathe, Keléchi finds himself writing about love, heartache, struggle and triumph. His musical stylings are reminiscent of contemporary funk-soul and pop powerhouses like Pharrell Williams, John Legend, Sam Smith and Bruno Mars. Artists who he greatly respects and admires.

Keléchi has headlined at the House of Blues - Foundation Room in Hollywood, CA performing his original music for a standing-room-only set which won the hearts of the entire city but his fans don’t stop there. Keléchi has performed for a crowd of 900+ as the opening act for Def Jam Recording’s own August Alsina at the Howard Theatre in the nation’s capital, Washington, DC.

This evolutionary artist is currently recording and developing his first EP with 2x Grammy nominated producer Drew Scott, production powerhouse Wrightrax, and Nate "IMPACT" Jolley. The EP, "ROOM WITH A VIEW," is set to release July 2015. It is Keléchi’s mission in his life, music, and style to encourage his fans to live life to the fullest despite all circumstances, a message that keeps him constantly seeking to smile, laugh, and practice self-love at all costs.
