Katie Buchanan, Michael Persall

Katie Buchanan is a midwest-born, NYC-based singer/songwriter and guitarist. With a soul tinged voice and bluesy guitar prowess, Katie plays decidedly singer/songwriter songs but in a rock trio.

Currently readying her next DIY-produced EP, GO, for release in 2014, Katie continues to play in and around NYC and in her native Kansas.


With different genres colliding with one another and forming sub-genres more than ever, singer and songwriter Michael Persall incorporates his influences of classic Motown slow jams, late 90's and early 2000's Hip-Hop and R&B, 60's and 70's classic rock, and 70's and 80's reggae all into one cohesive, distinguishable sound. Growing up listening to the likes of Otis Redding, Fats Domino, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Eminem, Tupac, John Mayer and Bob Marley, Michael was able to find a constant throughout all of his influences: lyricism and emotion. This is the driving force behind Michael's music, along with what defines it.

Michael was born in Santa Monica, CA, and was raised in the Monterey Bay area of California. Currently, Michael is a student at New York University, studying Musicianship and Branding in the Gallatin School Of Individualized Study, while recording often and playing regularly around the Greenwich Village area. Michael has just released his debut EP, "Things & Stuff," and plans to release his second EP in the Fall of 2013.
