About Kala and The Lost Tribe, Rue Brown, All Nat, Quincy Vidal

Arianna "Kala" Brame is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and MC based in Brooklyn, NY. Kala's first project, The Art of Balance EP, was independently released by her publishing company, Young Fire Creations, in May 2014.

The Lost Tribe is the host of ancestors and spirit allies that walk with me and guide me, musically and in my day-to-day life. I know in my heart of hearts that my greatest creations come through me, not from me; so I must acknowledge my ancestors and allies. In numerous spiritual faiths around the world, it is believed that the pantheons of deities are our ancestors, once living members of our villages and communities. With this understanding, we – living ancestors of future generations- are also members of The Lost Tribe. It is a reminder of the shoulders we stand on, the accountability we have as individuals in a community, and the honor we will have in the future of giving back.

Rue Brown is a multifaceted singer, with a strong background in dance and musical theater. Born and raised in D.C. and now residing in Brooklyn. Ms. Brown is a blend of jazz, hip hop & soul, a unique sound that reflects her journey, love, and the times.

Quincy Vidal was first established in 2009, after Le'Asha Julius and CE met in the Acting Conservatory at SUNY Purchase College. A year later, they created The Cookin' in Brooklyn LP (2010). Since then, they have gained many comparisons to artists such as A Tribe Called Quest, Outkast, Fugees and Digable Planets.

After graduating with BFA degrees, QV moved back to Brooklyn and immediately began working on their sophomore effort, Sentimental Moods (2012). A gritty anthology of Brooklyn life after college. Two years later, the duo decided it was time to share their individual musicalities and released a double album entitled Utopia|LDZ (2014).
