About Jones Street Station, The Girls (Alison Brie, Cyrina Fiallo, & Julianna Guill)

Jones Street Station

Formerly based in Brooklyn, Jones Street Station has evolved into a remote songwriting collective with members in Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, and Los Angeles. They recently completed their marathon songwriting project, Perennials, where they released 52 original songs in 52 weeks for charity.

Instruments spotted at a Jones Street Station show could include but are not limited to the following: Mandolin, Harmonica, Guitar, Bass, Piano, Drums, Banjo, Washboard, Accordion, Dobro, Rhodes, Analog Synths, and lots of four-part harmonies.

"Of all the bands Brooklyn has produced in recent years, rarely has the borough birthed an Americana-rock love child like Jones Street Station. But this isn't just Appalachia-on-the-Hudson—the band is just as fond of rockstar timbres and synths as it is mandolin, banjo licks and harmonica. We're not the first to liken them to a little band called Wilco, and we'd humbly submit the folk/pop stylings of The Avett Brothers and the jamboree ethos of Akron/Family for comparison as well." – Paste Magazine

THE GIRLS (who sing other people’s songs) are a Los Angeles based trio performing songs of a semi-impromptu, sometimes humorous, always harmonious nature. Oh, and written by other people. Featuring Cyrina Fiallo, Julianna Guill, and Alison Brie, THE GIRLS will woo you with tunes by some of their favorite artists including Queen, Alabama, and maybe even some Weezer.
