About Johnny Britt Presents Marvin Meets Miles ft: Onaje Allen Gumbs
June 22, 2015--- Johnny Britt is now set to deliver back to back Smooth R&B summer music releases with two
anticipated jazz tracks delivering a one two punch. Britt’s first summer release, “I Tried,” features Britt on smooth
R&B vocals featuring Wah Wah Watson. The single is scheduled for its global debut on July 10th. During the late
summer, Britt is set to drop a second track, “Luv 2,“ with Britt on trumpet featuring Grammy award winning
recording artist, Boney James. Britt’s anticipated back to back summer releases follow the successful promotion of
his recent hit single, “Beautiful Queen,” featuring Jessy J, best known for her No. 1 Billboard hit, “Hot Sauce.”
Britt’s summer release schedule is coordinated by Guion Partners, Inc. (GPI), a Los Angeles based management
firm lead by Lindsay Guion, an industry professional best known for his work with Grammy Award winning and
Multi-Platinum recording artists such as Ginuwine, Mya and D’Angelo.
“We at GPI are excited to work with Johnny Britt. It's rare to find an Artist with such an innate musical talent and
creativity in this digital age. We look forward to continuing to work with him as he grows in all aspects “The artistry
of Johnny Britt is compared to that of Miles Davis and Marvin Gaye simply because Johnny Britt sings like Marvin
and plays trumpet like Miles" says Lindsay Guion.
Singer, composer and trumpeter, Johnny Britt made his initial debut with Motown Records as the lead singer of
the popular duo Impromp2. As a producer and recording artist, Britt has worked both live and in studio with top
musical artists including Jennifer Lopez, Josh Groban, David Bowie, Maxwell, and Luther Vandross. He has
received Gold and Platinum status from his work with the Temptations and Boney James.
“I Tried” is scheduled for global release on July 10th and will be available for sale on iTunes, Amazon and other
worldwide digital outlets. His second summer release, “Luv 2,” is scheduled for a late summer release with an
official date to be announced.
