Come celebrate John Ford's A BETTER DAY CD Tour with Live Show and Listening Party for release of Ford’s latest and greatest achievement = his TWELFTH Solo album and 2015 Grammy entry, “A Better Day” - Featuring John Ford of the Strawbs - Legendary British bass player, guitarist and songwriter, who’s commercial band successes and highlights include: Strawbs, founding member of Hudson Ford, The Monks and Elmer Gantry’s Velvet Opera, then a stint with Ritchie Blackmore in Blackmore’s Nigh amongst a few. Ford has toured the world, sharing stage with the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Rick Wakeman, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, The Eagles, Jefferson Starship, Dave Mason, Ian Lloyd of Stories, BOC, King Crimson, T. Looking ahead 2016, some of Ford’s songs will be featured in an upcoming TV movie on a notorious cult killer, and other surprises! John Ford's past achievements include numerous Gold and Double Platinum Record Awards; Ivor Novello Songwriter's Award for “Part of the Union”; 2010 Inductee in Progressive Rock Hall of Fame; 2009 Progressive Rock Indie Artist of the Year. John Ford is a member of ASCAP, PRS and voting member of The Grammys National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences organisations

His recent collaborations and A BETTER DAY Special Guests include Ian Lloyd of Stories, Foreigner and Billy Joel fame, who will be a Special Guest at The Cutting Room Show, and fellow Brit, Edward Rogers - best known for work with Don Piper, A Kevin Ayres tribute, Rogers has currently been opening Ian Hunter, Colin Blumstone of Zombies, Lenny Kaye’s Nuggets with John Ford, and many more. When not appearing on A BETTER DAY Tour, Rogers will be opening some dates for Dave Davies and The Kennedys this Fall. Rogers may not be performing at The Cutting Room date. Also, appearing on album and show, Ford’s longtime Bass Player, John Cardone who also performs with, ‘That 60s Show’ and other Beatles and Sixties tribute bands in Tri-State. John Ford, Jr., who handles some of the lead guitar on “A BETTER DAY” and live. Rich Shapiro will be live on drums and percussion for the show!
