Joey Contreras

Joey Contreras is an award-winning musical pop songwriter from California. The release of his first album Love Me, Love Me Notfeatured an all-star lineup of Broadway talent and has gone on to enjoy international success throughout the US, Australia, London, South Korea, Germany and Japan. In 2014, his second and more pop-focused album, Young Kind of Lovedebuted immediately in the iTunes Pop Charts. The collection of songs had Out Magazine labeling Joey a “Broadway-pop crossover extraordinaire,” as well as complimenting the “sexy and catchy” music videos that accompanied the singles, “Ohio” and “Love Wildly.”

He regularly plays at popular New York concert venues such as 54 Below, Rockwood Music Hall, and Joe’s Pub at the Public Theatre and is currently working on his new EP, Silver.
