Jessie Davis has always had music in her blood; it’s taken many complicated surgeries to remedy the malady.  Based in Brooklyn, Jessie Davis’ eclectic sound is best described as Future Soul. Founding “The Nebraska Jones Experiment” as a one woman show on a subway platform, she has since expanded the project into a collective of musicians from all over the world, bringing original and popular music to life in an all-you-can-dream special.  The experiment has manifested itself into her 3rd album release.  However the project is more than just a record.  It is a collective of music lovers from around the world who have contributed their eyes, ears, hearts, and talents to create a brief snapshot of this musical journey.  Whether you catch Jessie performing in one of her many New York residencies,  on a festival stage, or behind the turntables djing 90’s throwback booty-shaking dancehall one thing is clear: Jessie Davis puts her heart and soul into everything she does. An undeniable talent, Jessie’s voice goes from soft and sultry with a classic familiarity to filling every corner of the room with an electric intensity in the skip of a needle.
