About Jesse and Forever, O Mer, Eternals, Katie Von Schleicher

"Completely diggin' this alt-psyche-soul-jazz swirl of Beck, Brazil, and the Beatles."

"Jesse and Forever is a project headed by Jesse Scheinin, a Berklee grad who comes from a background in jazz and the Brazillian circus. Ok now that we've got you interested he is also a talented musician. His recently released track, "Good Morning!", is a psychedelic dream-scape of horn layers and strange harmonies."
-The Deli

originally from tel-aviv, based in brooklyn.
beat maker, song writer, moon vehicle mechanic.

"This quartet imagines songs as structures, houses with form and function and beauty you want to live in, get a dog, fill the kitchen with soft cheeses and the liquor cabinet with fine whiskeys. Too much? You need a touchstone? Maybe Spoon or Wilco. No, forget the touchstone -- I like how they expanded their songs into territory those bands can’t or won't. Wait, wait, maybe the touchstone is Steely Dan on uppers then downers then more uppers." - Jed Gottlieb, Boston Herald

Brooklyn musician Katie Von Schleicher's Ba Da Bing! debut was recorded in a dark room on a Tascam 4-track cassette machine. The result is hazy, terrifying and playful. This is what happens when well-crafted songs are made in the moment, warped, drunk on themselves. Katie's voice sinks like anchors and rises like a phoenix, wrestling its way through its very own form of basement tapes. '70s piano rock provides the core, sad lyrics form the shell.
