Celebrate Bob Dylan’s 74th birthday at Hill Country Barbeque with Jeff Slate’s Dylan Obscura.

Whether you’re a hardcore fan of Bob Dylan, a classic rock trivia buff or just discovering the greatest songwriter of the past 50 plus years, this show is for you.

In celebration of Dylan’s birthday, Jeff Slate and his all-star band will treat you to an evening of stellar rock ‘n’ roll, including the Dylan composition recorded by George Harrison that Dylan himself has never recorded or even played live, gems he rarely plays in concert and some of his best but least known songs, as well as original music inspired by Dylan.

After sold out shows around New York City at Joe’s Pub and the Cutting Room, Jeff Slate makes his Hill Country Live debut, with his all-star band featuring musicians who have played with Paul McCartney, John Lennon, David Bowie, Don McLean and even Dylan himself, as well as some very special guests.

In 2012 Slate debuted his solo album Birds of Paradox to sold out crowds around New York City. Since then Slate has toured, released a new album of original music inspired Elvis Costello, and written extensively about some of music’s biggest names for Esquire, Guitar World and elsewhere. In February he was a featured performer with his Birds of Paradox band at the 40th anniversary Fest For Beatles Fans here in New York City. He’s currently hard at work on a new album, featuring performances by Earl Slick, Kenney Jones, Ian McLagan, Steve Holley, Carlos Alomar and many, many more!
