Jam City makes sideways club music for Planet Earth. From the glassy night time soundtracks of critically acclaimed debut album Classical Curves, to his acclaimed production work for Kelela on her recent Cut 4 Me mixtape, to the sweaty, boxed-injams of the recent Club Constructions EP, his music, like his infamous dj sets, effortlessly crosses the boundaries of genre, time and space, though never at the expense of raw physical energy.
