Jaime Woods

Jaime Woods is quickly moving up in the ranks of young vocalists to be on the look out for. Originally hailing from Chicago where she discovered her musical side within the city’s gospel scene, she moved out East to study at Berklee College of Music in 2011. Since her move out East, she has performed up and down the coast and shared the stage with the likes of Bilal, Casey Benjamin, Grace Kelly, Jennah Bell, Emily King, Edei, Lalah Hathaway, poet collective The Striver’s Row as well as a trip to West Africa to perform with artist Sara Mitaru. She also toured with Tedeschi Trucks Band as an opening act, with her brother, Daniel Woods. Accomplishing all of this while not yet reaching the age of 25, Jaime plans to start work on recording her own project in 2014. Once again, Jaime Woods is an artist to keep your eye on.
