That's why the big and bitter diva has put together "Songs I Really Can't Sing Anymore", an evening of topical parodies long past their prime. For over 25 years, comedian Jackie Beat (aka Kent Fuher) has been dressing up to dress audiences down. Now the self-proclaimed love-child of "Weird Al" Yankovic and Bette Midler is coming to the Laurie Beechman Theatre to entertain audiences with a bawdy blast from her past. Beat's colorful career has included opening for Roseanne Barr, writing for the late, great Joan Rivers, starring in countless campy cabaret productions, and making a prominent appearance in "Wigstock: The Movie".
