About Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk), Ian Neville (of Dumpstaphunk), Tony Hall (of Dumpstaphunk), Nikki Glaspie (Nth Power)

New Orleans-born keyboardist, singer and songwriter, Ivan Neville's music career began as a teenager performing alongside his father, Aaron, and his uncles, Art, Charles and Cyril in the Neville Brothers. In 1988, his first solo record, If My Ancestors Could See Me Now, landed him a Top 40 Billboard hit with "Not Just Another Girl." An established studio and touring musician, Ivan also contributed keyboards and vocals to two Rolling Stones albums and became a member of Keith Richards' solo band, the X-Pensive Winos. He was a member of Bonnie Raitt's band from '85-'87, and performed and/or recorded with Rufus, Don Henley, Robby Robertson, the Spin Doctors,Warren Haynes and others in the years to follow. In 2003, Ivan joined up with cousin Ian Neville (son of Art) and several of New Orleans' most renowned funk musicians to perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Following Hurricane Katrina, that one-time side-project evolved into the full-time funk powerhouse now known as Dumpstaphunk, one of the foremost leaders of their genre worldwide. Dumpstaphunk independently released their debut EP Listen Hear in 2007 and first full-length studio album Everybody Want Sum in 2010. Today they are touring nationwide and overseas in support of their second full-length record, Dirty Word (July 2013, Louisiana Red Hot Records).Through the Tipitina's Foundation, Ivan has also performed benefit shows with other New Orleans musicians in support of Hurricane Katrina charities, as well as 2012 Sandy relief benefits in New York and New Orleans.
