About Isadora

Probably a product of the New York environment, Isadora thrives in chaos but craves control... The Brooklyn quintet gives you a steady groove and you find yourself bopping your head, but then its growing ferocious before you know it. A rising wall of sound comes from Nick's guitar or Josh's synth, underlied by Ian's heavy bass. Then some explosive bursts of atonal, arrhythmic noise are coming from Aaron's own amp, and it's all threatening to decapitate the precious melodic tune he created with an acoustic guitar in his Bushwick apartment.

The band comes from 5 distinct musical backgrounds. Aaron's main songwriting influences (Radiohead, early Andrew Bird, Elliot Smith, Nirvana) aren't necessarily the music that inspired Jesse's drumming (The Who, Green Day, Louis Bellson big band drumming).

Not named after Isadora Duncan, although we know a little bit about her and she's cool.
