Marc Kinchen may be known to some in the dance world as a house icon and legend, but to many others, he is known only by his music and not by his name. From the time his breakthrough remixes of the international hit song, “Push The Feeling On” were released to his latest remixes of Lana Del Rey, Chris Malinchak, Hot Natured and solo projects, MK has been responsible for making ordinary pop records into dance classics.

Marc Kinchen is much more than a house remixer, he is an artist, producer, DJ, songwriter and an internationally respected name in the world of Dance Music and R&B. He has long pushed the boundaries of music in ways that have earned him this stellar reputation. When he was teenager growing up in Detroit, one of the true Techno originators, Kevin Saunderson, became kind of a mentor and pretty much gave him the keys to his already infamous Detroit KMS Studios.

Choosing the path of Producer/Artist over that of a DJ in the early days enabled MK to keep a pretty low profile with much of the general public, however, at the same time, it was a different story in the clubs and dance charts where he was gaining legendary status. Since his return to the scene over the last two years, MK has transformed a whole new series of songs with his uncanny ability to remix and reinvent. Lately his work can be found on the remixes of Lana Del Rey Summertime Sadness and Blue Jeans, Sky Ferreira’s “Everything Is Embarrassing,” Storm Queen’s “Look Right Through,” Dillon’s “Thirteen Thirtyfive” remix by MK and Lee Foss, Chris Malinchak’s “So Good To Me,” Sinead Harnett’s “Got Me,” Hot Natured’s “Forward Motion,” Inner City and Duke Dumont’s upcoming single “Hold Me.” Future projects include his new group, Pleasure State with Anabel Englund and Lee Foss, as well as his own, MK solo album.

MK’s return to the scene has him travelling the world at near record pace. Just in the last two months, he has been in Ibiza, Germany, London, all over the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Denmark, Holland, Norway, Italy and even Russia. “Sometimes we do three cities in one night and that can be wild. It is very different from the solitary existence the studio lends itself to, but I like them both,” says MK, “there is really nothing more exhilarating than hearing and seeing the crowd react to a record you have produced, it is so instant, so much warmth and good energy, I am really having a ball.”

It’s a long way from when he produced his first record, the now legendary, “Burning” for his own label, Area 10, which quickly led to him to NYC and a record deal from Virgin. During those years, MK was putting out songs like “Burning,” “For You” (4th Measure Men), “Do It Right, Feel The Fire,” “Love Changes” and “Always.” Most of these songs, still fill the dance floors today, as do his 200-plus remixes for artists ranging from Bizarre Inc, Blondie, Pitbull, JLo, Janet Jackson, Moby, Luther Vandross, Brandy, Pet Shop Boys, Enrique, Masters At Work, Dev, Happyhead, and Jodeci. It would also be impossible to forget the numerous remixes of his iconic versions of “Push The Feeling On,” (Nightcrawlers), which is still one the biggest house crossover hits and has been re-released at least five times that we know of. Even Pitbull used MK’s version of “Push the Feeling On” for his international hit single, “Hotel Room.” At least 20 of the remixes that MK has produced earned the artists number one status on the Dance Airplay and Sales Charts in the US and in the UK. He has long been cited as an influence by leading producers/DJs including Todd Edwards, Maceo Plex, Dubfire, Danny Daze, Laidback Luke, Afrojack, Todd Terry, Duke Dumont, Lee Foss and countless others.

In 2012, MK was honored to have his own House Master CD released on Defected. It was soon followed up by the popular compilation MK IN THE HOUSE in 2013, also on Defected, a double CD featuring current MK favorites and remixes.

Kevin Saunderson is an American electronic music producer. At the age of nine he moved to Belleville, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit where he attended Belleville High School and befriended two students, Derrick May and Juan Atkins. Saunderson, with Atkins and May, (often called the "Belleville Three"), is considered to be one of the originators of techno, specifically Detroit techno. He is married to Sharmeela Lamarsha Saunderson.

Although frequently associated with Detroit, Kevin Saunderson spent the early years of his life in Brooklyn, New York, before moving to Belleville, Michigan, a rural town some 30 miles from Detroit. As teenagers attending Belleville High School, Atkins, May, and Saunderson were fans of DJ Charles "The Electrifying Mojo" Johnson and the pop, disco, and funk music he played. Atkins and May soon became serious about mixing others' music and creating their own, but Saunderson pursued other goals first, studying telecommunications and playing American football at Eastern Michigan University. Atkins had begun recording with Cybotron in 1981, but it was not until 1985 that May followed suit and made a record. Initially concentrating on becoming a DJ, Saunderson watched the six-month-long process as May completed "Let's Go;" he was inspired to create his own music.

When the beat drops at a Nadastrom show, you better have your hands up. Dave Nada is known to stage dive while his DJ partner Matt Nordstrom squeezes the duo's most riotous beats through the speakers. It's a reminder Nadastrom aren't just pushing 21st century dance music toward the edge – they're jumping off it.

The D.C.-born, L.A.-based duo of DJ-producers come from different backgrounds, but share a ravenous appetite for extremes. As the prime architects of Moombahton – a sound Nada invented on the fly at a basement party by slowing Dutch house music down to the tempo of reggaeton – the duo have been praised in the pages of Spin and Rolling Stone, pumped on the airwaves of BBC Radio 1 and NPR, and revered at nightclubs and festivals across the planet.

Nada was born in Maryland, a first generation Ecuadorian-American surrounded by five brothers and the sounds of cumbia, Ecuadorian folk, salsa, merengue and reggaeton. As a teen, he gravitated toward Washington's legendary hardcore punk scene, playing in bands while learning to DJ on college radio. A move to Baltimore landed Nada in the second surge of Baltimore club music, where he DJed alongside club icons K-Swift, Rod Lee and DJ Technics, while producing acclaimed club tracks of his own.

Nordstrom grew up in Virginia on the other side of the Washington beltway where skateboarding provided a contact point with punk, metal and hip-hop. In the late '90s, he swapped the skateboard for turntables and switched his college major from psychology to audio engineering. Soon, Nordstrom was the resident engineer for esteemed D.C. house heroes Deep Dish and piloting recording sessions with the likes of Stevie Nicks and P. Diddy, even scoring a Grammy nod along the way.

When Nada and Nordstrom came together in 2007, the chemistry was instant and the music was colossal. The group signed to Switch's Dubsided label where their debut debut EP, "Pussy," immediately topped the charts on Beatport. Since then, Nadastrom have produced tracks for a slew of artists, including Kid Sister, and have done remixes for Kid Cudi, Benny Benassi, Christina Aguilera, Waka Flocka Flame, the Death Set and Alex Clare.

In 2010, the duo relocated from Washington to Los Angeles and hit the road, performing at the biggest festivals in dance music, including Australia's Creamfields festival with Deadmau5, the Disco Biscuits' Camp Bisco festival, Bass Island with Bassnectar, the Mad Decent Block Party with Major Lazer and the HARD Festival in Los Angeles with Ducksauce, Chromeo, BoysNoize and Odd Future. Last fall, Nadastrom joined Skrillex and 12th Planet for more than 50 nights on the hotly anticipated Mothership Tour.

Meantime, Moombahton has become a movement of its own, with Nadastrom serving as the genre's leading ambassadors. Diplo's Mad Decent label dropped the acclaimed compilation "Dave Nada presents Blow Your Head Vol. 2: Moombahton" in May and Scion released Nadastrom's Moombahton EP "El Baile Diabluma" this fall.

"There are never any rules," says Nada of the duo's approach. "And Moombahton helped us realize that even more.

Justin Miller is a quintessential New York City DJ. Mixing the classically cool with the always-cool and the brand new, he's a selector whose tastes spread across best of techno, deep house, and disco new and old. Part of that diversity likely comes from his tenure as DFA Records assistant label manager and sole employee for seven years, guiding the seminal NYC label through one of its most fruitful periods. With artists including LCD Soundsystem, The Juan MacLean, Hercules & Love Affair, Still Going, Benoit & Sergio, Runaway, Canyons and Walter Jones, a diverse crew of disco-leaning artists, Miller helped to establish the best of the best in modern dance music as part one of its most respected and influential imprints. He's a proudly interactive DJ, feeding off of the crowds he plays to a self-proclaimed goal to "hypnotize," and his prominence is only likely to increase. Having recently left DFA to start his own label HAKT Recordings, the new imprint will see releases from like-minded artists as well as debut productions from the man himself, as he begins to focus more on his own career after helming one of the most formidable juggernauts in dance music for almost a decade.
