About Incognito

UK Jazz-Funk Band Incognito ("Always There")

The popular radio program "Democracy Now!" tapped Incognito for its theme song not only because their mix of jazz, funk, soul and pop strikes a chord with audiences around the world, but also because the British acid jazz band stands up for what it believes in. The multicultural crew has contributed to two Red Hot compilation albums to raise awareness for AIDS, one which "Time" magazine voted Album of the Year. Incognito's fans span the globe, including here in the U.S., where their most recent release, "Amplified Soul", landed in the No. 1 spot on the "Billboard" Contemporary Jazz Album charts. From their breakout hit "Always There" to their latest, the Memphis soul groovin' "Hats (Make Me Wanna Holler)," come hear all their jams at B.B. King Blues Club in New York.
