Currently based out of Woodstock, NY, songwriting and touring performers, Ian Flanigan & Billy Rogan have teamed up to discover the limits of inspiration within the realm of imagined stories of song, and through the improvisation in melodies of their technical prowess, together as a prolific singer/songwriter (Flanigan) and accliamed instrumental guitarist/composer (Rogan)
..To be a little bit more down to Earth and descriptive, Ian Flanigan sounds like a mixture of Ray Lamontagne, Eddie Vedder and Jack Johnson, but plays guitar better than all three of them. Billy Rogan is an acclaimed, versatile guitarist with influences stemming from Michael Hedges, Jerry Garcia, and Jimi Hendrix. Together, Flanigan & Rogan create a wonderfully unique soundscape of songs with deep musical exploration and exciting moments of improvisation.
