HO∆X

HO?X is the culmination and by-product of years of musical journeying. Lead vocalist and

rhythm guitarist Mike was in the middle of building up catalog of records for a Hip-Hop

album he was producing when he came into contact with Frantz (the current bassist) at

Hofstra University. Frantz was working on a side project with Lopez brothers (Jacob and

Kevin: Drummer and Lead Guitarist) and invited Mike to come down to sit in on a couple of

sessions. An instant bond was formed based on similar tastes in music and other

interests. Frantz, Jacob, and Kevin decided they would help Mike with his solo career by

acting as his backing band, but after months of practicing and organic song writing,

everyone knew HO?X was much more than just a background side project. Mike put his

Hip-Hop project on full hold and dove straight into writing material for HO?X. The style

that emerged was ironically much like the melting pot of ethnicities and tastes that the

band itself is. Alternative Rock, Indie Flair, and HipHop lifestyle became the forgoing

characteristics of HO?X. Since HO?X’s formation in September 2014, the band has worked

tirelessly to create music that captures the rawest emotions of the human condition, and

promote a brand that seeks to aid the creative mind. Almost a year later HO?X will be

entering the studio to record its highly anticipated debut album.
