Honeybird

Honeybird honed her songwriting and performing craft over fourteen years living in Rome, Italy. Charango and electric bass her main instruments, writing songs and performing her passion.

As the leader of honeybird & the birdies, she played more than 400 concerts in twenty countries, including international festivals Primavera Sound, Eurosonic Noorderslag, MaMA Event, and Cherchez La Femme and performed live on Italian television and radio, Catalan radio and German radio.

In 2014, she moved to Brooklyn to pursue a new solo project. More sultry and mature, the intensity of the big city kicked her in the calf—literally; she spent her first summer in NY on crutches. She used that time as an opportunity to dive into her new album, which she recently recorded with Grammy-award winning producer/engineer Marc Urselli, bassist/vocalist Ivy Wong, drummer/percussionist Tim Keiper, and renowned Italian multi-instrumentalist Enrico Gabrielli.
