Hide & Seek

A caravan of musical gypsies, Hide & Seek has created a harmonious fusion of soul, blues & rock that has been making noise in the New York City music circuit since Fall of 2014.

Ranging from whimsically flirtatious to serious social commentary, Hide & Seek's lyrics sit atop evocative melodies and are sung in gripping male/female vocal harmonies by dueling lead singers Alex Newman (vox / guitar) and Madeleine Miller-Bottome (vox).

Sprinkling in touches of show-tunes, Adam Spiegel (keys) also compliments the singers with his own broad vocal range. The rhythm section - TIm Shortle (drums) and Ryan Metosky (bass) - pull from jazz and jam influences to create moods that are both haunting and foot-stompingly fun. Rounding out the unique sound is Tony DePiano (lead guitar) who conjures up the spirit of Americana with meaty guitar tones reminiscent of CCR and Led Zeppelin.

Always sporting a crowd that is pouring over with merriment, Hide & Seek is an act to be appreciated by all music lovers, with a beer or whiskey in hand.
