Hellbirds' Pet Peppers Live!

Hellbirds is a new project by Jasno Swarez, frontman of The Vandelles. A veritable Williamsburg super group, the band features Caleb Harmon on drums, Lydia Gammil on bass, Tarra Thiessen on backing vocals, and Nick Foligno on keys and saxophone. Hellbirds sounds like a pop act from the early sixties that would have played along side the Beatles, Beach Boys, or Kinks, while also sharing stages with The Shangri-las, Betty Everett, and the Crystals. The group's songs like Catch a Grave and You're Not Mine are harmony heavy uptempo rave-ups, and their live show is an aural attraction including an amazing light show the likes of which has never been seen in the small clubs of New York.
