There are certain artists that just can't help but expand upon their genre, Color Plus is one of these artists. Lars Probert (Connecticut) seems to have the bizarre talent of combining ambient acoustic sounds with some truly rhythmic patterns of hi-hats and 808 kicks. His latest tape, Cerulean Dream, is a true melding of cosmic sounds touching in the genres of future garage, juke, hip hop and downtempo.. Some of tracks sits at a syrupy slow pace, while others are more uptempo, sub-heavy melodies that are prepped for the dance floor.
