Harville, SAVVAS, The Gifts

SAVVAS is a Brooklyn based, 8-piece, vocal centric outfit of soul scuffing hook rocking misfits.

The songs are brainchild of front-woman Angela Savvas Schneider, who combines R&B inspired writing with heady conceptualism. Her husband and band leader David Schneider, a pop/rock vet, directs bass and drums into a Wrecking Crew style rhythm section and sheds his own dissonant 90's guitar squalls on these moody tunes. Add 4 part harmony, one violin, and Angela's own raw honeyed lead vocals, and you're in a head on collision with one tasty wall of sound.

The band can be seen around Brooklyn and Manhattan, as they prepare to release their debut album, Oceans, a tight and punchy, if not occasionally quirky, pop record that travels deep into the cold waters of Savvas' psyche with husband as Captain and many band members and best mates.
