Take Back the 80s will bring you back to when times were simpler. The economy was booming, you could still smoke in taxis, your ruffled ankle socks were all the rage, The Go-Gos were America’s sweethearts & everyone just LOVED the president. These were the 80s. Minnie & Francine are very excited to rock their way into NYC’s Barracuda Heart with their totally awesome banter and rad stage presence. You can’t help but think of Joan Jett & Lita Ford when our resident bad girl, Minnie, sings and thrusts. Good girl, Francine, purrs & bounces – it’s easy to believe she’s Belinda Carlisle & Tiffany’s love child. With all the glamorous burlesque girls and go-go dancers you’ll feel like you’re high – but just say NO to drugs.
You may not be able to afford the price tag of seeing Madonna in concert in 2013 but our show is priced in 1980s US dollars. We’re pretty sure the $12 cover of our show won’t hurt your day-glo wallet. So come live the glamorous life: strap on your jelly shoes, bangle bracelets & come over for some burlesque – stay to dance the night in the back lounge – it will be more fun than you had at your high school prom!
