Grateful Rockers: A Children’s Workshop Featuring Stella Blue’s Band

On Saturday, April 11, give your grateful kids the gift of music with a workshop at Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre. We’re paying tribute to a band beyond description with one of the area’s hottest tribute bands, Stella Blue’s Band! The “Grateful Rockers” Children's Music Workshop is presented by The Rock and Roll Playhouse, and it is specifically designed for children and families. Bring your entire clan of devoted DeadHeads along to sing, dance, and play while Stella Blue’s Band performs songs from Grateful Dead’s extensive catalogue.


This intimate workshop is for children ages 3-years-old to 10-years-old, and it will make even the littlest fans rock out to Grateful Dead’s music. Kids will find out what’s shakin’ on “Shakedown Street” while using egg shakers as instruments, and they will learn several innovative techniques to the sounds of “Playing in the Band.” The Rock and Roll Playhouse is thrilled to teach children 10-years-old and under how to build music skills, and how to inspire families to continue a lifelong journey of music education and appreciation.
