The most fun -- and delicious -- party of the summer is just a short ferry ride away. The Governors Island Music & Seafood Beach Party is a celebration of warm-weather chillaxing in NYC. Headliners include Bob Marley tribute band CCB and local reggae act Top Shotta Band Featuring Screechy Dan. Enjoy freshly prepared lobster rolls, oysters, shrimp cocktail and clams plus delicious craft beer while you grab some rays along the gorgeous sandy beach and take in Instagramable views of the East River, Manhattan and New Jersey. Set at the waterfront Governors Island Beach Club, this all-ages beach bash features performances by local reggae and rock bands -- along with the opportunity to dig into a tasty seafood platter (which can either be pre-purchased with your ticket or bought onsite while supplies last).
