George Vala

George Vala is a NYC-based DJ/producer making waves with his unique approach to meticulously immersive organic techno. With an extensive background in world and orchestral music, years of performing live, and an undying thirst for making people move, George began his career in 2009 with an arsenal of inspiration. Over the last few years he has honed his sound both as a DJ and producer with early releases on labels such as Suara, Smiley Fingers, Lovemonk, and Buddha Bar. His efforts have earned him recent spots on Kaiserdisco's KD Music, Upon You Records, Dood Records, Not Bad, GCR and King Street Sounds.

This summer Monika Kruse hand-selected Vala for her Terminal M Cookies Vol. 2 project, highlighting her most favorite up-and-coming producers. Vala's "Mikazaru" sat alongside great cuts by Ruben Mandolini, Paride Saraceni, Collective Machine & Riccardo Sabatini. 2015 will be Vala's biggest yet with releases slated on Get Physical, Stereo Productions, Zoo:Technique, Redrum, Natura Viva, Natural Rhythm and more.
