Geo Progulakis Trio + special guest

Highly entertaining and artistic, the Geo Progulakis Trio explores different musical concepts that blends jazz tradition with progressive elements heard in the carefully structured compositions. From ballads to up-tempos, the Trio performs with a cohesive and energetic interplay that takes the listener on a journey of evocative harmonies, rhythmic complexity and swing. The band is presenting the music from the recently released album, Good Start , which features talented musicians Geo Progulakis (piano & composition), Luca Rosenfeld (bass) and Zan Tetickovic (drums).

The nine original compositions on the ‘Good Start’ album reveal glimpses of my personal experiences growing up as a child in Chile and Peru, then to my next twenty years in Italy, and finally taking root in NYC for these past four years. The musical direction is deeply rooted in jazz tradition, and also inspired by 20th century composers.
