About "Funk Night" Featuring Li'nard's Many Moods

Singer-Songwriter Li'nard Jackson and His Band Li'nard's Many Moods

Li'nard Jackson knew from an early age that music was his destiny. At the age of eight he won a statewide rhythm competition in Virginia, sang in his church's choir and studied both violin and bass guitar. As he got older, Jackson went professional and began playing as a session musician, contributing to more than 50 albums and 175 songs for artists like Patti LaBelle, The O'Jays and The Jones Girls. He even toured Europe with groups like Mr. Thing and Professional Human Beings. Jackson now has his own band called Li'nard's Many Moods, and they're bringing their grooving sound to B.B. King Blues Club in New York City for "Funk Night".
