About Frank Grail, Wild White, The Alec Martini Project, Pleasure Island, Ted's Dead

Wild White. Loud. Fuzzed out. Melodic. This Brooklyn trio formed on a whim in the fall of 2013, and, within months, recorded an EP of skewed power pop originals, in the spirit of Husker Du and Dinosaur Jr., followed quickly by the online single "Agitator". High-energy, well-received live shows quickly followed, at venues like Glasslands, Pianos, and Cake Shop, as well as shows in DC. A full-length EP is in the works for 2015.

Pleasure Island plays spy, surf and hot rod instrumentals inspired by The Shadows, Duane Eddy, The Ventures and Dick Dale. It is a sturdy trio comprised of Phil Bentz from Slam Suzanne, Manatees and Shaken Growlers showing off his licks on an array of vintage guitars, Johnny Horn from Sharpshooters, Cold 102s and YYBB on bass, and master drummer Stafford Warner pounding the tubs with nimble dexterity. Pleasure Island recorded "Endless Xmas" which is featured in their special holiday set of surfish instrumentals!
