They met. They fell in love. They wrote songs.
They fought. They made up. They broke up. They wrote songs.

At a time when for most it would be the end of a relationship, for Sydney duo Falls it was just the beginning. Every Wednesday night for almost two years, Falls played at a little hotel in Sydney called the Hollywood. It's there that they found their sound and where they wrote the songs that would become their debut EP Into The Fire.

In this intimate setting, the connection between these two onstage was palpable. Their emotionally fueled live performances drawing rave reviews, with the Sydney Morning Herald noting "their voices sit next to each other like they've been pouring from the same pot of tea for years".

In late 2013, Falls caught the ear of Universal Music Group's Verve Records. Upon signing to the label they moved to the US and have spent the past 12 months traversing the country playing shows and falling in love with the landscape and it's people.

Having toured with The Lumineers, Passenger and Of Monsters and Men, Falls are fast developing an impressive live resume which also includes performances at Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, CMJ, Bumbershoot, Loufest, The Americana Music Festival and most recently Austin City Limits.

The band are now spending the winter in Omaha Nebraska where they are putting the finishing touches on their debut album with producer Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, First Aid Kit, She & Him, M. Ward) – due out through Verve in 2015.

With an unmistakable sound, barefoot collaborators and best friends Falls are gently making a name for themselves.
