"Fable" Mixes Live Music and Spoken Word: A Best of the Fests From Fringe Encore Series

There are many famous fables -- Aesop's, La Fontaine's -- but only one "Fable". U.K.'s Flanagan Collective brings a story about two very different people who change each other profoundly to the Huron Club at the Soho Playhouse. Based out of the York Theatre Royal, the Flanagan Collective's work mixes live music and spoken word, powered by influences like Kate Tempest and Tom Waits. "Fable" is part of the Fringe Encore Series, a festival showcasing some of the most critically acclaimed and crowd-pleasing shows from both the FringeNYC and Edinburgh Fringe fests.
