About Everything You Heard is True

Dani Danger Stoller makes her first appearance at The Cutting Room to overshare about about the life of a perpetually single, viciously uncomfortable, overly-talkative, terrifyingly-anxious, totally neurotic, somewhat endearing, twenty-something. Featuring songs by some of her favorite pop and rock songwriters and accompanied by an incredible band featuring Matthew Schleigh, Jaime Ibacache, Laura Van Duzer, Manny Arciniega, and Jason Wilson!

Dani Stoller is an actor and playwright originally from Brooklyn, New York. Everything You've Heard is True is her third solo show following That Girl and Awkward. Her previous credits include District Merchants (World Premiere), As You Like It, and Midsummer Night's Dream at the Folger Shakespeare Theater. The Diary of Anne Frank and Annie at The Olney Theatre Center. Hair and Dogfight at the Keegan Theatre. Blithe Spirit, The Italian American Reconciliation, The Good Counselor, and Bat Boy at 1st Stage. Invisible Man and Carrie: The Musical at Studio Theatre. As a playwright her work has been performed in New York and DC. Her plays Accepts With Pleasure and Fortune Cookies for Easy Women Smoking Loose Cigarettes were both featured in SigWorks at the Tony Award Winning Signature Theater. Fortune Cookies will be receiving another workshop later this month.
