Edith Pop, Liliane Cagoule

Edith Pop is comprised of best friends Tim Oakley (formerly of Mathematicians and Phantogram) and Laura Hajek (pandha piranha), Aided by Oscar Allen (BBDDM) on guitar and Miles Lally on bass. The songs featured on the premiere EP capture both the joyful hope and deep ennui of trying to reconcile the banality of daily life with the excitement of teenage faith in rock and roll. Based in New York, Edith Pop's debut EP is currently an independent project produced by Tim Oakley and Stitch.


The sound and songwriting of Peter Gramlich remains as fresh and important as ever: with the rampant ferocity of The Stooges and the ice pop-sensibility of Cold Cave, Liliane Cagoule transcends the realm of rock ingenuity. Gramlich is finally able to fully marry the two divergent sides of his personality: his effortless knack for reeling off torrents of sincere bubblegum beauty and his irreverent sense of humor.
