About Ed Romanoff, Clive Barnes

Ed Romanoff's self-titled, eleven song debut was a Roots Radio Top 100 Album for 2012, has been played in 13 countries and ranked as high as number 12 on the European Amercana Charts. Produced by Crit Harmon (Lori McKenna, Marten Sexton) the smoky haze and rustic production provide a moody landscape for Ed's earthy voice and showcases cameo vocal appearances from Josh Ritter, Tift Merritt and Meg Hutchinson.

Nine of the songs from Ed's first effort have won top awards at The International Songwriting Competition, USA Songwriting Competition, The Great American Song Contest, and The Nashville Songwriters Association International Competition.

This year, Ed joined Lyle Lovett, Steve Earle, James McMurtry, and Nanci Griffith as a New Folk Winner at the Kerrville Folk Festival.

He lives in Chelsea, New York with his Costa Rican rescue dog, Freckles and is currently finishing his first book.
