About ebb + flow presents
In late 2007, when Tara Danielle Brooks put her first needle on a record, she had neither idea nor expectation that her passion for music would soon become her life-long career. She learned on vinyl using her natural ear for music. Through this route, she escaped into the sounds that helped her discover a new meaning to life. Experiencing magical nights at parties & festivals in Southern California, Tara discovered the power to be moved & touched by electronic dance music, causing pure enlightenment. She's a self-taught deejay who found her destiny: To express creativity through music.
Tara's passion turned into an addiction, landing her gigs from all over So Cal, Vegas, Miami, New York, internationally, & more. She's opened/closed for many including Plastikman, Art Department, Thugfucker, Green Velvet, James Zabiela, Victor Calderone, Eric Prydz, Erick Morillo, Joseph Capriati, Alan Fitzpatrick, The Martinez Brothers, etc. She plays for Insomniac, The Bpm festival, Wmc Space Miami, Drais LV/LA, Marquee Day Club, & fills her year with Burning Man fundraisers, decompression's & a packed dj schedule on the playa. She describes Burning Man as "The he most magical, phenomenal, twisted experience of my life, & i've never felt an energy so beautiful before."

Influences include John Digweed, Art Department, Tennis, Victor Calderone, Lee Burridge, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, Pig & Dan, Los Suruba, Guy Gerber, Gaiser, Tube & Berger, Hernan Cattaneo, Audiofly & others like minded. On the same day Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin, Edgar Allen Poe, his mother and grandmother were born, so too did San Francisco DJ NIKITA begin his enchanted existence. As a young boy in Denver, Colorado, NIKITA's childhood was similar to that of other creative youth, days filled with singing, playing the piano, and dancing to his mother's R&B albums. From an early age, NIKITA always knew he wanted to be an entertainer. Then, in 1993, a chance encounter with house music at an underground warehouse party would prove to be a pivotal moment in his life, ultimately guiding NIKITA towards the charmed life he lives today.
It wasn't until the turn of the millennium though that NIKITA would leave his home in Colorado to search the clubs and warehouses of San Francisco for his destiny. At the very least, he would get a degree in music business from San Francisco State University. But with a resounding perseverance and an inimitable personality, NIKITA quickly earned his place among the upper echelon of DJs in San Francisco's world-renowned club scene. In 2005, NIKITA was chosen to host his own radio show, The Massive Mix, on Northern California's only electronic dance music radio station, Energy 92.7 FM. Indeed, it was NIKITA's penchant for blending raw grooves with sophisticated sounds that garnered him a residency at San Francisco's legendary nightclub, The EndUp.
NIKITA is a DJ's DJ, a rare soul who truly understands his role in the DJ booth. Performing anywhere from two to twelve hour sets, NIKITA weaves music into fantastic journeys of rhythm and sound. NIKITA's ability to contrast the harder elements of techno with the soulful sensuality of deep house has garnered him accolades from some of the world's best DJs and allowed him the rare opportunity to tag team alongside the likes of Lee Burridge, Cassy and Derek Plaslaiko. Indeed, NIKITA has played with a Who's Who of international talent, including Danny Howells, Steve Lawler, Craig Richards, Steve Bug, Damian Lazurus, M.A.N.D.Y. and many, many more. With additional inspiration coming from friends such as Ms. Honey Dijon, Tedd Patterson and Danny Tenaglia, it comes as no wonder why NIKITA's story is one of a dream come true.
Nikita is has been working on music production, and has releases set for later this year...
Masterfully blending sinister dub-techno grooves with organic, percussion-heavy deep house and general low-slung funk, Dahlia delivers sets that reflect kindly on her early Latin jazz, dub and classic house upbringing. Consistently finding new ways to interpret, re-invent and advance these sounds in unique and subtle ways, her blends develop into compositions of their own.

Along with DJ partners Luis Padron and Azadi, Illich Mujica created one of the most well-regarded electronic dance music parties in New York City: “Techtonics.” (http://blogger.dealeron.com/ttd/index.html) Through Techtonics, Mujica has worked with such talented DJ/producers like Marc Romboy (Systematic Recordings, Germany), Joris Voorn (Rejected, Netherlands), Guy Gerber (Cocoon Recordings), and many other talented DJs. He's also shared the stage with renowned acts such as Green Velvet, Duke Dumont, Radio Slave, Cari Lekebusch and Davide Squillace.
Mujica was hand-picked by Made Events to be the sole opening local DJ for their infamous “Save the Cannibals” Techno party for legendary DJ/Producer Joris Voorn, and more recently by Verboten to open up their Circoloco party featuring Matthias Tanzmann and Davide Squillace.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Mujica's influences are diverse, ranging from Nine Inch Nails, The Cure and Depeche Mode, to Prodigy and Daft Punk, to Aphex Twin, Richie Hawtin, Sasha and John Digweed. The result is a dark but elevating, authentic, high-energy musical sense delivered in the form of sophisticated track-selection and refined mixing that leaves everyone always asking for more.
Active since the late 90s, Annesta's chameleon-like quality has her playing many styles over the years ranging from progressive trance, to techno, electro and house music.
Annesta has had an impact on the underground music scene with over a decade of working behind the scenes in many roles and as an event producer and DJ. Expect unique sets with a techy but soulful flair, rebellious basslines and a genre defying vibe.
Born and raised in France, Kinner G, a.k.a Guillaume, was always fascinated by the way music, nature and the mind interact in strange ways. This led him far off the beaten path : playing at raves in the bucolic french countryside, next to monks in the Himalayas, or all the way on top of the art cars of Burning Man. In 2014 he co-founded Atlantis as an experiment to use electronic music and dancing to naturally enhance your senses.
Expect very melodic and uplifting deep/tech-house, with some occasional goose bumps.
