About Drunk Unkles

Legends in their own minds and the minds of their A/V colleagues, the Drunk Unkles’ blend of bluesy rock has been a crowd pleaser for over a decade. Targeting their tour dates with key industry trade shows and events, the band originated from an after work jam by a number of then Shen Milsom Wilke
(SM&W) staffers in 1999. Looking for a consistent group of available musicians, the band stayed within the industry but evolved to include a number of other professionals with musical talent from other consulting firms, manufacturers, rep firms, dealers and integrators.

Currently the band consists of industry vets: John Cardone (Cardone Solomon Associates), Steve Emspak (Shen Milsom & Wilke), March Hochlerin (Longman Lindsey), Mike Phillips (Hudson Marketing), Felix Robinson (AVI/SPL) and vocalist and resident “Aunt” Lisa Wenger (www.lisawenger.com).

This fall, on October 29th, the Drunk Unkles will close out ROCKTOBER with a special event planned to coincide with the AES (Audio Engineering Society) Convention, a show that brings together the world’s largest gathering of audio professionals. Held at the Jacob Javits Center, October 29 – November 1, the event provides opportunities to hear from top audio industry figures while sharing in the latest research
and technology information.
