About Donna Destri

Donna Destri: Pop-Rock Singer, New York Legend

Long before vocalist Donna Destri found her current groove as one of the queens of the European EDM-club scene, she was a fixture on New York's underground music circuit, at CBGB and Max's Kansas City, performing with The Ramones, Cherry Vanilla and more. In fact, she sang backup on several key tracks for her brother's band Blondie. She had her own one-woman show, "Diary of a Bad Housewife", and a hit single in '82 with a cover of Bowie's "Rebel Rebel." This consummate performer with the powerful pipes will take the stage at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in a cabaret show filled with songs and stories from back in the day.
